  • 26. 22-Jul 2025: God’s Temple Today, a Type and Shadow of the Old Testament. 2 Chronicles: Chapters 5,6 and 7.

    Solomon, the son of King David, was given wisdom, knowledge, wealth and honour, from God. Such as no other king had previously or shall any after him. When God had blessed him with wealth, he was determined to build a royal house for Him.

    The temple Solomon had built was a type and shadow of what was to come. Blood sacrifices to cleanse from sin and an inner court, the Holy of Holies. When Jesus the only Begotten Son of God, sacrificed Himself on the cross, He became the fulfilment of the greatest sacrifice ever.

    When He rose from the dead, He made a new and better covenant for all mankind, doing away with a temple made of stone. The moment He died on the cross, the veil to the inner court, was torn in two. Making the throne room of God accessible to man, and changing God’s dwelling place from a temple made by man’s hands, to one made by His hands, in us.

    2 Chronicles 6:7-9. Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a temple for the name of the Lord God of Israel. But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well in that it was in your heart. Nevertheless you shall not build the temple, but your son who will come from your body, he shall build the temple for My name.’

    The son shall build the temple. Jesus is the one who builds our temples, He is the corner stone on which we are rebuilt. He is also the author and finisher of our faith. And He is the way maker at the cross.

    The inner sanctuary is where our inner man is, and the ark is our heart. What is in the ark? His commandments written on our hearts.

    2 Chronicles 5:7. Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim.

    2 Chronicles 5:10.  Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they had come out of Egypt.

    After the temple was finished and everything put in place, as the Lord designed, then there was a celebration, and God entered His house.

    2 Chronicles 7:1-3. When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house.

    When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying:

    “For He is good,
    For His mercy endures forever.”

    The fire is the Holy Spirit entering us when we enter that new covenant through the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross. The presence of God indwelling us. His fire consumes the sacrifices of sin we give up, the darkness in our heart and soul, renewing them day by day, making brand new. He purifies by lining His home with the purity of gold, and engraving His wisdom of words on the fabric of our hearts. Our inner man meditating on His beauty day and night.

    1 corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

    Solomon prayed for the Lord to have mercy upon the people of Israel, and commanded them to pray to the temple to repent when they sinned. Then God would have mercy upon them and forgive them their sins. When we pray we speak from the heart to God, who is very near.

    2 Chronicles 7:14-16. if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

    2 Chronicles 6:36-42. “When they sin against You (for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to a land far or near; yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying,

    ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness’; and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and toward the temple which I have built for Your name: then hear from heaven Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive Your people who have sinned against You.

    Now, my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and let Your ears be attentive to the prayer made in this place.

    “Now therefore, Arise, O Lord God, to Your resting place,
    You and the ark of Your strength.
    Let Your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation,
    And let Your saints rejoice in goodness.

     “O Lord God, do not turn away the face of Your Anointed;
    Remember the mercies of Your servant David.”

    This shows Gods mercy, yes we are sinners, but He has always been merciful and faithful to forgive our sins, if we turn to Him, repent and ask for help. We see this all through scripture with all people, not just the people of Isreal.

    1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    God also warns us of what will happen if we turn away from Him.

    2 Chronicles 7:19-20. “But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them, then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house which I have sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

     1 Corinthians 3:16-17. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

    Proverbs 28:13. He who covers his sins will not prosper,
    But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

    So friends and family, we see how the old testament mirrors the new. Jesus is The Word and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. His words are written in His Ark, on our hearts, and His Holy Spirit fire dwelling in our inner sanctuary with the inner man on fire for God. His mercy seat on the ark, covered by the blood of Jesus, our atonement of grace.

    As you can see, God in His absolute love and faithfulness to us, has given us everything, in the most perfect gift of all, Lord Jesus Christ.

    In light of this revelation, how could we possibly think that we did anything good, when we know that all good things come from the Father of lights, who dwells within us. Amen.

    Praise You and glorify You Jesus, that we may all glorify our Father through You, for ever and ever. Amen.

    With love from your brother in Christ,

    Paul

  • 20. 16-Jul 2025: My Grace is Sufficient

    2 Corinthins 11:26

    And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

    Hello Friends in Christ, Jesus said to Paul, My grace is sufficient for you. This goes for all of us, when we struggle with temptation or demonic attack. If we confess our sins to God from the heart, He is faithful and just to forgive us, and help us overcome them.

    Jesus already defeated our enemy, the devil, we simply hand over the battle to Him, and walk in our victory, with Him. He is glorified through our trials and tribulations. Hallelujah!

    This is why Paul boasted in his weaknesses, so then the Lord would come in His power and glory to help him. While He fights our battles, we walk with Him as co-heirs, in His glory, as royal priests, and children of light.

    Our Father loves us so very much. He wants us to be all that He created us to be, in unbroken fellowship with Him. That we receive our inheritance in the richness of His glory, through our Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ.

    God bless you all, may you come to know who you really are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

    With love from your brother in Christ

    Paul

  • 15. 8-Jul 2025: Arise and Shine

    For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1

    Hello Friends, I pray you are now encouraged, following our journey with the Lord.

    When I received the fire of Holy Spirit baptism, there was an internal shift that changed me forever. The only way I can describe it, is a fire was ignited within me, like an intense inferno. Of Course it is the trinity of God within me. My inward man blazing with the light and life of Jesus within me. All I did was invite Jesus into my heart, and accept him as my Lord and Saviour, and this is what happened to me. Suddenly His light shone through me, my spirit was made alive, born again, once I was blind, but now I see. In such a divine encounter, the Kingdom of Heaven entered within me. Jesus healed me, and drove out the darkness, setting me free of all the sins I was a slave too.

    Now with His wonderful presence, power and light flooding my, spirit, mind and soul. It is impossible for me not to share Jesus with the world, it would be a great injustice, if I did not. All I see now are the billions of suffering lost souls that need Jesus. My heart burns for them, because my desires are from God, that all will come to receive the ultimate gift of eternal life through Jesus.

    I know by the word of my testimony, what the blood of Jesus has done for me. He has healed me, delivered me from the evil one, paid the penalty of my sins at the cross, and given me eternal life in Heaven, right here and now.

    I encourage you all, time is short here and the hour late. Share the goodness of God with all around you. Pick up your cross, put away the flesh, fear, doubt and selfishness. Focus on Jesus and the calling He has given you. God commands us to love God with all our heart, mind and soul, and to love our neighbour as we love ourselves.

    If we really did love God and our neighbours, wouldn’t we go out to share our Saviour with great enthusiasm and urgency to the spiritually lost, with great fear for their perishing souls.

    If we have any love or compassion for others, would we just stand and watch a blind man walk off a cliff. Wouldn’t we run to that man to pull him away from danger. So it is for the spiritually blind, without Christ our only Saviour. Without receiving the atonement of sin by Christ at the cross, repenting and turning from sin, the bible says, the wages of sin is eternal death.

    When we abide in Him, and He in us, the fruit of His love will be on full display, for all to see. The veil is lifted, His light radiant cutting through the darkness of this world. Dust off your lamp stand, put it centre of your house, and let His glorious light shine into those precious, hurting souls, so Jesus might heal and save them too.

    Mathew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

    John 12:36. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

    2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

    Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord,
    Searching all the inner depths of his heart.

    2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

    Philippians 2:3-4. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

    Jude 1:23. but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

    Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

    Deuteronomy 31:8. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.

    John 3:17. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

    Mathew 5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

    Romans 10:15. And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

    How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
    Who bring glad tidings of good things!

    May God bless you with all His richness and fullness in Christ Jesus. Amen.

    With love from Paul

  • 13. 5-Jul 2025: John 15:5-7 Abide in Me

     “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them  into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

    ( From Google )The word “abide” is used ten times in the first ten verses of John 15. Looking at the Greek roots of the word, we discover helpful definitions. To abide is to “dwell,” “remain,” “be present,” and to “be held and kept.”Abiding addresses our posture and place.

    Hello friends, we see the true meaning of the word abide, is to dwell. this reminds me of David in Psalm 27.

    Psalm 27:4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
    That will I seek:
    That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    All the days of my life,
    To behold the beauty of the Lord,
    And to inquire in His temple.

    Dwelling in Him, our Lord all the days of our lives. A connection deep down in our soul, where His word and Spirit is our essence and fragrance of life, springing out of our hearts, in His perfect love. The trinity of God our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit abiding in us, if we abide in Him.

    John 14:23. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

    This is a state of being, remaining spiritually connected through Jesus our source of life and light, so that He may produce an abundance of eternal fruit. Following His commandments, is obedience to His word, the vine.

    John 1:1-4. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

    Jesus is just so incredibly unique, the greatest beauty to behold, to dwell or abide in. A beauty, that I am firmly intertwined with, drawing continually from His eternal love. He glorifies our Father in Heaven, the Holy Spirit glorifies Him through us, and we get to dwell in His house for ever and ever.

    Thank you Father God for your perfect gift to us, our vine, your word, our Saviour, our life and light. The Christ our King, our everything.

    God bless my friends, let us abide in Him together, in perfect love and unity for ever. Amen.

  • 10. 3-Jul 2025: My Soul is Safe and Content With God my Father, in Jesus my Saviour.

    4 – July – 2025

    Psalm 62

    A Calm Resolve to Wait for the Salvation of God

    To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.

    Truly my soul silently waits for God;
    From Him comes my salvation.
    He only is my rock and my salvation;
    He is my defense;
    I shall not be greatly moved.

    How long will you attack a man?
    You shall be slain, all of you,
    Like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.
    They only consult to cast him down from his high position;
    They delight in lies;
    They bless with their mouth,
    But they curse inwardly.

    My soul, wait silently for God alone,
    For my expectation is from Him.
    He only is my rock and my salvation;
    He is my defense;
    I shall not be moved.
    In God is my salvation and my glory;
    The rock of my strength,
    And my refuge, is in God.

    Trust in Him at all times, you people;
    Pour out your heart before Him;
    God is a refuge for us.

    Surely men of low degree are a vapor,
    Men of high degree are a lie;
    If they are weighed on the scales,
    They are altogether lighter than vapor.
    Do not trust in oppression,
    Nor vainly hope in robbery;
    If riches increase,
    Do not set your heart on them.

    God has spoken once,
    Twice I have heard this:
    That power belongs to God.
    Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
    For You render to each one according to his work.

  • 7. 30-Jun 2025: The parable of the wheat and the tares

    Last night, the Lord put on my heart this parable about the tares in the wheat. He is promting me to examine this word. Interesting how Jesus says the tares are sons of the devil, planted by him, the enemy. And not to remove them lest you uproot the wheat. The wheat being the sons of the Kingdom. There is also a distinct difference between the two, they are not the same. Whilst the sons of the devil are around us, we are separated by our identity as sons of God.

    Mathew 13:24-30 NKJ

    Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.  Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

    Mathew 13:36-43 NKJ

    The Parable of the Tares Explained

     Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.  The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.  Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.  The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,  and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
