We are in Christchurch, in our first day sharing Jesus on the streets and God has given us a lovely sunny day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The streets are packed with people in the school Holidays. Brother Logen took us to a spot he had witnessed before and believes to be the busiest in Christchurch, he was not wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We set up the table with water and books at the top end, leaving brother Pio there, while Logen and myself went down the other end near Remembrance Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Colombo Street, Christchurch. 2 October 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9l0U0Y9Vo64?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Logen preached the word of God and his testimony to the masses of people walking past. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two sisters in Christ and one brother joined us to preach also. We sensed the anointing upon their preaching, as The Holy Spirit took over. They shared testimonies of encounters with the Lord and how He has miraculously, healed them and will do the same for all who are listening. All about her journey with the Lord and how He had protected her all the way from when she was very little. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filled with many supernatural encounters, of prophetic dreams and visions. How God spoke to her many times, helping her avoid attacks from the enemy or helping others around her. Jesus has delivered and healed people through her, as she commanded in Jesus name, praise God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Aileen preached on the speaker, I sensed God&#8217;s anointing upon the words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Psalm 121:7-8 <\/strong> The\u00a0Lord\u00a0shall\u00a0preserve you from all evil;<br>He shall\u00a0preserve your soul.<br>The\u00a0Lord\u00a0shall\u00a0preserve\u00a0your going out and your coming in<br>From this time forth, and even forevermore.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Joel 2:28-29<\/strong> And\u00a0it shall come to pass afterward<br>That\u00a0I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;<br>Your sons and your\u00a0daughters shall prophesy,<br>Your old men shall dream dreams,<br>Your young men shall see visions.<br>And also on\u00a0My\u00a0menservants and on\u00a0My\u00a0maidservants<br>I will pour out My Spirit in those days.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Mark 11:23-24 <\/strong>  For\u00a0assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, \u2018Be removed and be cast into the sea,\u2019 and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.\u00a0Therefore I say to you,whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive\u00a0them,\u00a0and you will have\u00a0them.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Exodus 4:12 <\/strong>  Now therefore, go, and I will be\u00a0with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people did stop to receive prayer, believing in Jesus their Saviour. 130 precious souls surrendered their lives to Jesus this day, glory to Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few more fellow brothers and sisters in Christ also stepped up to share their testimonies on the loud speaker, praise God. It is located in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canterbury_Region\">Canterbury Region<\/a>, near the centre of the east coast of the South Island, east of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canterbury_Plains\">Canterbury Plains<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is located near the southern end of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pegasus_Bay\">Pegasus Bay<\/a>, and is bounded to the east by the Pacific Ocean and to the south by the ancient volcanic complex of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Banks_Peninsula\">Banks Peninsula<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avon_River_\/_%C5%8Ct%C4%81karo\">Avon River \/ \u014ct\u0101karo<\/a>\u00a0winds through the centre of the city, with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hagley_Park,_Christchurch\">a large urban park<\/a>\u00a0along its banks. With the exception of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Port_Hills\">Port Hills<\/a>, it is a relatively flat city, on an average around 20\u00a0m (66\u00a0ft) above sea level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christchurch has a reputation for being an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/English_New_Zealanders\">English<\/a>\u00a0city, with its architectural identity and nickname the &#8216;Garden City&#8217; due to similarities with garden cities in England, but also has a historic\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M%C4%81ori_people\">M\u0101ori<\/a>\u00a0heritage. Christchurch has a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Temperate_oceanic_climate\">temperate oceanic climate<\/a>\u00a0with regular moderate rainfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The area of modern-day greater Christchurch was first inhabited by the historic M\u0101ori\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iwi\">iwi<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Waitaha_(South_Island_iwi)\">Waitaha<\/a>\u00a0in the mid-thirteenth century. Waitaha, who occupied the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Swamp\">swamplands<\/a>\u00a0with patchworks of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marsh\">marshland<\/a>, were invaded by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/K%C4%81ti_M%C4%81moe\">K\u0101ti M\u0101moe<\/a>\u00a0in the sixteenth century, and then were absorbed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/K%C4%81i_Tahu\">K\u0101i Tahu<\/a>\u00a0a century later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u014ctautahi was inhabited seasonally, and a major trading centre was established at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kaiapoi_P%C4%81\">Kaiapoi P\u0101<\/a>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/British_Empire\">British<\/a>\u00a0colonial settlement began in the mid-nineteenth century. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/First_Four_Ships\">First Four Ships<\/a>\u00a0were chartered by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canterbury_Association\">Canterbury Association<\/a>\u00a0and brought the Canterbury Pilgrims from Britain to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lyttelton_Harbour\">Lyttelton Harbour<\/a>\u00a0in 1850. It became a city by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Letters_patent_(United_Kingdom)\">letters patent<\/a>\u00a0on 31 July 1856, making it officially the oldest established city in New Zealand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christchurch was heavily industrialised in the early 20th century, with the opening of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Main_South_Line\">Main South Line<\/a>\u00a0railway and the development of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/State_housing_in_New_Zealand\">state housing<\/a>\u00a0saw rapid growth in the city&#8217;s economy and population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christchurch has strong cultural connections with its European elements and architectural identity. Christchurch is also home to a number of performing arts centres and academic institutions (including the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/University_of_Canterbury\">University of Canterbury<\/a>). Christchurch has hosted numerous international sporting events, notably the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1974_British_Commonwealth_Games\">1974 British Commonwealth Games<\/a>\u00a0at the purpose-built\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Queen_Elizabeth_II_Park\">Queen Elizabeth II Park<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"544\" src=\"https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Christchurch_New_Zealand_panoramic_attributed_Michal_Klajban_white_final_v5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1735\" srcset=\"https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Christchurch_New_Zealand_panoramic_attributed_Michal_Klajban_white_final_v5.png 1920w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Christchurch_New_Zealand_panoramic_attributed_Michal_Klajban_white_final_v5-1000x283.png 1000w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Christchurch_New_Zealand_panoramic_attributed_Michal_Klajban_white_final_v5-768x218.png 768w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Christchurch_New_Zealand_panoramic_attributed_Michal_Klajban_white_final_v5-1536x435.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The city has been recognised as an Antarctic gateway since 1901, and is nowadays one of the five\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antarctic_gateway_cities\">Antarctic gateway cities<\/a>\u00a0hosting Antarctic support bases for several nations. Christchurch is served by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christchurch_Airport\">Christchurch Airport<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Harewood,_New_Zealand\">Harewood<\/a>, the country&#8217;s second-busiest airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city suffered a series of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2010_Canterbury_earthquake\">earthquakes from September 2010<\/a>, with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2011_Christchurch_earthquake\">the most destructive occurring on 22 February 2011<\/a>, in which 185 people were killed and thousands of buildings across the city suffered severe damage, with many central city buildings collapsing, leading to ongoing recovery and rebuilding projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christchurch later became the site of the worst\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christchurch_mosque_shootings\">terrorist attack<\/a>\u00a0in New Zealand history targeting two mosques on 15 March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<strong>Wikipedia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>____________________________________________<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.
