Jesus is the same today as yesterday and will be forever more, praise God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We experienced Your wonderful presence Father God, and miraculous works again today. Many people where touched by Your spoken words from our lips, carried by Your Spirit, into the hearts of those You have opened. Thank You Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Isaiah 59:21  <\/strong> \u201cAs\u00a0for Me,\u201d says the\u00a0Lord, \u201cthis\u00a0is\u00a0My covenant with them: My Spirit who\u00a0is\u00a0upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants\u2019 descendants,\u201d says the\u00a0Lord, \u201cfrom this time and forevermore.\u201d<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Pio, who has been blessed with a loud and clear voice of a commanding army sergeant, preached without a mic on a major intersection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Logen and Aileen, preached a block away in a big square and then at the other end of Colombo. The whole Colombo Street is receiving powerful testimonies and the gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cashel Mall, Christchurch. 12 October 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KVXCr1fvlp8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Brothers and sisters in Christ are coming up to join in, breaking off fear as they share their powerful testimonies of what Jesus has done for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time we are witnessing to the masses of people walking past, seeing many stop for prayer, ministering and fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>2 Corinthians 4:6-7 <\/strong>  For it is the God\u00a0who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has\u00a0shone in our hearts to\u00a0give\u00a0the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. I shared Jesus with her and she was very open to listen, revealing she did already  know about Jesus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kitty revealed she had been going through some tough times, so I prayed blessings and encouragement with her. Kitty agreed to invite Jesus into her heart, surrendering her life fully to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kitty was so touched by God, as the regenerative  power of the Holy Spirit lit up her countenance, igniting a fire in her heart, for Jesus. I sensed an alignment shift in her soul, praise God, glory to Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>John 4: 14 <\/strong>  but\u00a0whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. As we prayed together, he forgave all those who had hurt him in the past, acknowledged his sins, asking for forgiveness and surrendered his life to Jesus, his Saviour. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Romans 2:12-16 <\/strong>  who show the\u00a0work of the law written in their hearts, their\u00a0conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves\u00a0their\u00a0thoughts accusing or else excusing\u00a0them)\u00a0in the day when God will judge the secrets of men\u00a0by Jesus Christ,\u00a0according to my gospel.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Romans 1:20 <\/strong> For since the creation of the world\u00a0His invisible\u00a0attributes\u00a0are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,\u00a0even\u00a0His eternal power and\u00a0Godhead, so that they are without excuse<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1754\" src=\"https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251009_165556-scaled-e1760115077705.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1751\" srcset=\"https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251009_165556-scaled-e1760115077705.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251009_165556-scaled-e1760115077705-1000x914.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251009_165556-scaled-e1760115077705-768x702.jpg 768w, https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251009_165556-scaled-e1760115077705-1536x1403.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I met Grant, who had obviously, recently, suffered trauma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grant revealed to me he had recently taken a serious fall and was feeling very weak. I sensed he had been through a lot and just needed some love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I prayed healing in Jesus name and asked Jesus to strengthen him amongst other prayers. Grant said he would like to accept Jesus into his heart as Lord and Saviour. As we prayed together, Grant was very sincere accepting Jesus into his heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hugged and for the first time since I met him, he smiled. Thank you Jesus for healing my precious brother in Christ. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Isaiah 40:29 <\/strong>  He gives power to the weak,<br>And to\u00a0those who have\u00a0no might He increases strength.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Psalm 34:19 <\/strong>  Many\u00a0are\u00a0the afflictions of the righteous,<br>But the\u00a0Lord\u00a0delivers him out of them all.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were many other amazing divine appointments, but if I was to share them all, I would not get any sleep. Of course God knows them all, It&#8217;s all His work after all. I am just glad to share a few, so my friends in Christ and anyone who may be reading these blogs will be encouraged, and give glory to Jesus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This whole website and outreach is designed by the Holy Spirit to glorify and magnify Jesus Christ our Lord, that our Father may be glorified in Him. The main mall was closed to traffic on 11&nbsp;January 1982 and formally reopened as a pedestrian mall on 7&nbsp;August, but it was not until 1992 that the entire mall was paved. The mall was redeveloped between 2006 and 2009, and track was installed for an expansion of the heritage tram network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The September&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2010_Canterbury_earthquake\">2010 Canterbury earthquake<\/a>&nbsp;caused damage to some buildings, but the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/December_2010_Christchurch_earthquake\">Boxing Day aftershock<\/a>, directly underneath the city, caused even more damage, including building failures. The 6.3 magnitude February&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2011_Christchurch_earthquake\">2011 Christchurch earthquake<\/a>&nbsp;devastated the mall; the fa\u00e7ades of many buildings collapsed and there were several fatalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/soulsforchrist.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1791\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The centre of the city was subsequently closed to allow demolition work to proceed. Structures affected included most of the heritage buildings in the mall that are or were registered by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heritage_New_Zealand\">Heritage New Zealand<\/a>.
