Hallelujah! another wonderful day with Jesus, on Colombo Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We continued on in the same places as usual, preaching, witnessing, praying and magnifying the mighty name of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Logen preached at the square under a big tree, for shade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A security guard, approached Logen to inform him of complaints from some shop owners. So Logen turned off the speaker, deciding to move on. But not before Logen prayed with the friendly man, to receive Christ into his heart, Hallelujah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Pio was joined by a group of Hare Krishna’s who had set up near him. They had a speaker and drums, their music was very loud. But Brother Pio did not budge, and stood his ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He continued preaching with his voice, with no speaker while they were next to him. However he did ask if he could pray for them, but they declined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>2 Timothy 4:3-4 <\/strong> <sup>\u00a0<\/sup>For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine\u00a0and\u00a0accurate instruction [that challenges them with God\u2019s truth]; but\u00a0wanting\u00a0to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires\u00a0and\u00a0to support the errors they hold,\u00a0and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths\u00a0and\u00a0man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable].<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Palestinian protesters marched up the street at about mid day. We all stood with our Jesus flags, preaching the gospel to the protesters as they passed by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Logen had the speaker turned up, so they all heard about salvation through Jesus and no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Mathew 24:13 <\/strong> And this\u00a0gospel of the kingdom\u00a0will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no anger directed at us but a young asian man approached me afterwards, wanting to know more about Jesus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So Holy Spirit through me shared the full gospel message. He asked if he too could become a follower of Jesus. Wow, thank You Lord, Your ways are so Great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The young man prayed with me to accept Jesus into his heart, surrendering his life life to Him. He receive a new testament bible and I pointed out the insightful instruction for new believers in the first pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Isaiah 55:8-9 <\/strong> For\u00a0My thoughts\u00a0are\u00a0not your thoughts,<br>Nor\u00a0are\u00a0your ways My ways,\u201d says the\u00a0Lord.<br>“For\u00a0as\u00a0the heavens are higher than the earth,<br>So are My ways higher than your ways,<br>And My thoughts than your thoughts.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We then all headed down to the Remembrance bridge, where there is a whole row of bars and night clubs. Being a Saturday afternoon they were all full. The trams were ferrying from pub to pub non stop. There were live bands playing on the trams and the people were singing and cheering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It reminded me about my past, but my desire for that life of sin had completely left me years ago. In my heart I feared for their precious souls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I too, once was the same, spiritually dead and a slave to sin. Looking in all the wrong places for peace, love or joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Ephesians 2:1-10 <\/strong> And\u00a0you\u00a0He made alive,\u00a0who were dead in trespasses and sins,\u00a0in which you once walked according to the\u00a0course of this world, according to\u00a0the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in\u00a0the sons of disobedience,\u00a0among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in\u00a0the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and\u00a0were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\">But God,\u00a0who is rich in mercy, because of His\u00a0great love with which He loved us,\u00a0even when we were dead in trespasses,\u00a0made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),\u00a0and raised\u00a0us\u00a0up together, and made\u00a0us sit together\u00a0in the heavenly\u00a0places\u00a0in Christ Jesus,\u00a0that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in\u00a0His\u00a0kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.\u00a0<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\">For by grace you have been saved\u00a0through faith, and that not of yourselves;\u00a0it is\u00a0the gift of God,\u00a0not of\u00a0works, lest anyone should\u00a0boast.\u00a0<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\">For we are\u00a0His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I know Jesus has strategically placed us and many others as beacons of His light on the paths of the lost. That they might turn from darkness to light and receive the greatest gift, freely available to all, in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour : everlasting life. Amen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no greater high the world could ever offer, that would remotely compare, to dwelling in the presence of the Lord, to behold His majesty, glory and beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>John 8:12<\/strong> Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,\u00a0\u201cI am the light of the world. He who\u00a0follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Psalm 26:8 <\/strong> Lord,\u00a0I have loved the habitation of Your house,<br>And the place\u00a0where Your glory dwells.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Psalm 27: 4 <\/strong> One\u00a0thing\u00a0I have desired of the\u00a0Lord,<br>That will I seek:<br>That I may\u00a0dwell in the house of the\u00a0Lord<br>All the days of my life,<br>To behold the\u00a0beauty of the\u00a0Lord,<br>And to inquire in His temple.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\">Psalm 91:9-12 <\/mark><\/em><\/strong> <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\">Because you have made the\u00a0Lord,\u00a0who is\u00a0my refuge,<br>Even\u00a0the Most High,\u00a0your dwelling place,<br>No evil shall befall you,<br>Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;<br>For He shall give His angels charge over you,<br>To keep you in all your ways.<br>In\u00a0their\u00a0hands they shall\u00a0bear you up,<br>Lest you\u00a0dash your foot against a stone.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazingly, we met another outreach group of 25 people who have travelled down from Auckland, witnessing from town to town, just as we are. Our God id certainly on the move in New Zealand, sending out teams to witness to the lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They seemed well organised as they met up for prayer with local Harvest, Church near the Remembrance Bridge. We fellowshipped with them for awhile, then we all went to work, praise God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can clearly see, God our Father has heard the prayers of the saints, and is sending an abundance of labourers to the harvest fields, thank You Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>1 Corinthians 15:58 <\/strong> Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing\u00a0that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>1 Corinthians 3:7-9 <\/strong> So then\u00a0neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.\u00a0Now he who plants and he who waters are one,\u00a0and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labour. For\u00a0we are God\u2019s fellow workers; you are God\u2019s field,\u00a0you are\u00a0God\u2019s building.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Mathew 9:37-38 <\/strong> Then He said to His disciples,\u00a0\u201cThe harvest truly\u00a0is\u00a0plentiful, but the labourers\u00a0are\u00a0few.\u00a0Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is all and all, our God, our King, our Saviour, our Healer, our Mediator, our Advocate, our Defender, our Strength, our Provider, our Protector, our Refuge, our Peace, our Joy, our Source of love, our Life, our all in all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus is our everything and He gave us everything at The Cross. His life, His body, His precious blood and His outright victory on the third day when He rose again and defeated death and its sting, hallelujah! Thank you Jesus, You are worthy of all praise, we bless Your Holy name for ever and ever. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for following what Jesus is doing in this outreach. Our hope is that you will be encourage, edified and draw closer with Jesus, to fulfil your calling and ministry with Him. And develop a deeper more intimate relationship with Him, your Creator and Saviour.
