Well, today is our last outreach in Nelson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have really enjoyed our time here in the Nelson region, seeing so many precious souls come into the arms of Jesus our Saviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sharing Jesus in Nelson 18 February 2026\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vpooQ6yXoG0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We were witnessing at the same pedestrian crossing again, where the walk through to carpark is. We were stationed either side of the crossing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A man said he would like to have prayer, to be delivered of demonic online satanism, which he said, he had been following for some time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said he did attend a church in his early years, but was led astray on the internet. And now suffering the consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>1 John 2:18 <\/strong> Little children,&nbsp;it is the last hour; and as you have heard that&nbsp;the Antichrist is coming,&nbsp;even now many antichrists have come, by which we know&nbsp;that it is the last hour.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brother Pio took him through deliverance prayer, repenting and renouncing all interaction and association with those websites and any other places. The man still didn&#8217;t believe he was forgiven, but Pio reassured him he is forgiven through Jesus, at the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pio instructed him to burn all demonic material in his possession, and never go on those sites again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Acts 19:19  <\/strong> Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned&nbsp;them&nbsp;in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and&nbsp;it&nbsp;totaled fifty thousand&nbsp;pieces&nbsp;of silver.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the day went on, thirty five people received the powerful seed of Christ into there hearts, believing Him to be their Saviour, Glory to the King of Glory, Jesus. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At about 4pm, the street went quiet, so we departed for the farm base camp again. The Nelson urban area has a population of 50,800,<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-NZ_population_data_2018-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;making it New Zealand&#8217;s 15th most populous urban area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelson is well known for its thriving local arts and crafts scene; each year, the city hosts events popular with locals and tourists alike, such as the Nelson Arts Festival.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Naming\"><strong>Naming<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelson was named in honour of Admiral&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Horatio_Nelson,_1st_Viscount_Nelson\">Horatio Nelson<\/a>, who defeated both the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/First_French_Empire\">French<\/a>&nbsp;and Spanish fleets at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Battle_of_Trafalgar\">Battle of Trafalgar<\/a>&nbsp;in 1805. Many roads and public areas around the city are named after people and ships associated with that battle. Inhabitants of the city are referred to as Nelsonians; Trafalgar Street is its main shopping axis.<sup>[<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:Citation_needed\">citation needed<\/a><\/em>]<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelson&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M%C4%81ori_language\">M\u0101ori<\/a>&nbsp;name,&nbsp;<em>Whakat\u016b<\/em>,<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-Maori-5\">[5]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;means &#8216;construct&#8217;, &#8216;raise&#8217;, or &#8216;establish&#8217;.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-6\">[6]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an article to&nbsp;<em>The Colonist<\/em>&nbsp;newspaper on 16 July 1867, Francis Stevens described Nelson as &#8220;The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Naples\">Naples<\/a>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Southern_Hemisphere\">Southern Hemisphere<\/a>&#8220;.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-7\">[7]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;Today, Nelson is nicknamed &#8220;Sunny Nelson&#8221; due to its high sunshine hours per year and the &#8220;Top of the South&#8221; because of its geographic location.<sup>[<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:Citation_needed\">citation needed<\/a><\/em>]<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_Zealand_Sign_Language\">New Zealand Sign Language<\/a>, the name is signed by putting the index and middle fingers together which are raised to the nose until the fingertips touch the nose, then move the hand forward so that the fingers point slightly forward away from oneself.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand#cite_note-8\">[8]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nelson,_New_Zealand\"><strong>Wikipedia<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello friends in Christ.
