Today we are heading back to the mall. We found the mall entrance to be the busiest spot and brother Dayton said he will be back there preaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Gospel of Christ Preached in New Plymouth 5 March 2026\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AMwe7ftYiMs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were positioned around the entrance and Dayton was singing and dancing along to gospel music, playing on a small speaker. Many people were walking past and hearing the Word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Psalm 30:11-12 <\/strong> You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;<br>You have put off\u00a0my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,<br>To the end that\u00a0my\u00a0glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.<br>O\u00a0Lord\u00a0my God, I will give thanks to You forever.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We handed out many free 2026 calendars and tracts. The calendars are from Maori Postal Aotearoa, which have lovely scenic pictures of God&#8217;s creation and a bible scripture for each month, written in Te Red Maori and English. We talked with him about what Jesus accomplished at the cross for us and him, sharing the good news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>1 Corinthians 9:16 <\/strong>  For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for&nbsp;necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I absolutely love this verse because if we are sharing Jesus, we are not boasting in ourselves!  We boast in our King of kings, Jesus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well he was more than ready to accept Jesus into his heart, as he repented of all his sins and forgave all those who had hurt him. He called out to Jesus to come into his life and make him born again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>John 3:8.<\/strong>  The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is always a very joyous occasion, as we sensed an open Heaven above us. The joy and celebration, shining down onto Rameka from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Luke 15:7.<\/strong>  I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents&nbsp;than over ninety-nine&nbsp;just persons who&nbsp;need no repentance.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bother David called in for a while, as he too was out evangelising, travelling a daily circuit, through the city and along the expansive board walk, following the coast. His home is close by, so he travels on an electric skateboard. A great talking point to start a conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David and Paul evangelise together a lot, ministering and helping local homeless people. Through brother Paul, the Lord is gifting a caravan to a homeless man who they have been ministering with, praise God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-3-color\"><strong>Mathew 25:37-40.<\/strong> Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, \u2018Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed&nbsp;You,&nbsp;or thirsty and give&nbsp;You drink?&nbsp;When did we see You a stranger and take&nbsp;You&nbsp;in, or naked and clothe&nbsp;You?&nbsp;Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?\u2019&nbsp;And the King will answer and say to them, \u2018Assuredly, I say to you,&nbsp;inasmuch as you did&nbsp;it&nbsp;to one of the least of these My brethren, you did&nbsp;it&nbsp; to Me.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We Thank You Father God, for Your out pouring of mercy and love to all the people that You placed before us. Thank You for the seventy seven precious souls, You drew into Yourself. We praise You Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We trust in You Jesus, that You will water them, with Your living water. It is also the region&#8217;s financial centre as the home of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/TSB_(New_Zealand)\">TSB Bank<\/a>&nbsp;(formerly the Taranaki Savings Bank), the largest of the remaining non-government New Zealand-owned banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notable features are the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Botanic_garden\">botanic garden<\/a>&nbsp;(i.e.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pukekura_Park\">Pukekura Park<\/a>), the critically acclaimed Len Lye Centre and Art Gallery, the 13&nbsp;km (8.1&nbsp;mi)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_Plymouth_Coastal_Walkway\">New Plymouth Coastal Walkway<\/a>&nbsp;alongside the Tasman Sea, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Len_Lye\">Len Lye<\/a>-designed 45-metre-tall (148&nbsp;ft) artwork known as the&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wind_Wand\">Wind Wand<\/a><\/em>, Paritutu Rock, and views of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mount_Taranaki\">Mount Taranaki<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Plymouth was awarded the most liveable city (for a population between 75,000\u2013150,000) by the International Awards for Liveable Communities in 2021. In 2023, New Plymouth was awarded New Zealand&#8217;s most beautiful small city by Keep New Zealand Beautiful.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_Plymouth#cite_note-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;It also won multiple awards in 2008. The city was in 2010 chosen as one of two walking &amp; cycling &#8220;Model Communities&#8221; by the government.
