Hello family, today we are in Greymouth, after travelling through Arthur’s Pass. We found a freedom camp out at the river mouth. The site was very exposed as the bus rocked around in the strong wind.
The next day we had arrange to meet brother Juergen and daughter Anna. Anna a young, budding evangelist, was keen to join us in the outreach. We set up a table on the Main Street, with free drinks, books and bibles to give away.
The town was quiet but Holy Spirit still drew in precious souls to Jesus. We spent some time sharing with Juergen and Anna, how the Lord works through us in sharing the good news to the public. We sensed Anna was encouraged as she handed tracts out to the people passing by. It was evident, that Anna truely does love Jesus with all her heart.
Brother Juergen, a beloved brother in Christ, blessed us with food and drink. God has given Juergen incredible talents in photography, producing stunning imagery of God’s beautiful creation, glory to Jesus. Many of the images are viewed in books or media around the world. He has two galleries in Hokatika, praise God.
We loaded Anna up with tracts for her ministry with Jesus and at around 2pm, we departed from Greymouth, to travel to Westport.
Hello friends in Christ, after Hokatika we had planned to return back to Christchurch, via Arthur’s Pass. Ps Paul had invited us back to Urban Oasis C3 Church on the way back. My son Jackson and Mum had moved to Christchurch, so God’s perfect timing enabled us to catch up and spend time together, over two weeks. Thank You Lord.
In this time I was able to help Jackson prepare for His new school with uniform and stationary. I was great to spend time with him as we had not seen each other in the 9 months since we left Auckland. Jackson is also starting his first ever job in a local mechanics shop, so Mum and Dad are thrilled for him as he matures through more responsibility.
Thank you Jesus for guiding, protecting and providing for Jackson and Mum. Amen.
Brother Pio stayed with sister Aileen, while brother Logen informed us that he will be departing from the Souls For Christ tour, deciding to stay with his Dad, who lives in Christchurch.
We were sad to say good bye to our beloved brother in Christ Logen, but I sensed this was part of God’s plan for him.
Sister Aileen suffered a minor stroke before we left. We went to see her in hospital before we left and got to pray for her, praise God.
We prepared the bus for transfer back to Auckland. Brother Gav and wife offered to drive it back to Auckland.
So much has happened in our time in Christchurch, but I believe our Father in Heaven is working all things for our good.
You are faithful and kind Father, always present. All we do is trust in You, for we know nothing is impossible for you.
After all our good byes to beloved family, we departed for Greymouth, via Arthur’s Pass again.
Once again we stayed at a Doc Camp mid way to rest.
Thank you for joining us here, you are welcome to leave a comment if you like.
Bless you and your families with love from your brother in Christ,
Hello friends in Christ, we finally arrived in Hokatika, hallelujah! Gavin and Cindy, hosts of the living Waters Festival, invited us to stay at their beautiful farm in Hokatika.
We parked up and were, greeted by brothers Deon, Gavin and Doug. They invited us to join them and a multitude of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ for dinner.
It was a lovely reunion with beloved brothers and sisters in Christ from Auckland there, Deon and Roleen, Chris and Klaudia, Maree and Gary.
We also met brother George from a Motorcycle Ministry again, whom we met in Hamilton and many more new faces in the family of Christ.
Mathew 12:46-50While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner and fellowship together, with worship, prayer and communion after, praise God.
17 January 2026, the next day, the festival started. We set up in a tent with free books and tracts. Then brother Logen and myself decided to head into Hokatika, central town for a few hours of outreach.
Brother Pio stayed with the tent. We found an access point from the Main Street to the beach. The perfect location for Holy Spirit to have maximum impact in a small town. Amen.
John 14:26. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
We set up a table with free drinks, books and bibles and shared the Good News, praise God.
Logen preached, as I witnessed, to the people passing through.
Amazingly Holy Spirit drew in thirty two precious souls, to Jesus. All confessing Jesus is their Saviour, glory to Him.
John 14:15-17. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
We met Mum and daughter previously at a doc camp. We enjoyed a wonderful fellowship together. Mum had a powerful word from God, she shared with me.
1 Corinthians 14:3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
We then return to the festival to enjoy the amazingly talented musicians who sang and praised God until 10pm, thank you Holy Spirit.
There were also a number of powerful preachers, who did not hold back on delivering important truths from the word of God.
Steve and Ainsley Apirana sang from the heart, with beautiful Holy Spirit filled melodies, glorifying Jesus.
Psalm 138:5. Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.
Was great to see brother Deon again, looking well and on fire for Jesus as usual.
Leviticus 6:13. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.
Lovely to catch up with Chris and Klaudia again from Auckland.
Psalm 34.5. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
Great to catch up with brother Gary from Auckland, who Loves the Lord.
1 John 4:16. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
Maree was enjoying the festival cuisine. Always a joy to be around.
John 15:11. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
Brother Juergen is looking remarkably well. We enjoyed a great fellowship together, with his family, praise God.
1 John 1:7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Great to see brother Doug and his lovely wife again, who were camped in their caravan next to us. Lovely Humble people who love the Lord Jesus.
Proverbs 22:4. By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life.
1 Peter 5:5-6. Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for
“God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
18 January 2026, there was a morning service with a great message for us to chew on. We were informed of beloved Ps Michael who had collapsed and was rushed off to hospital last night. We all prayed for his healing in Jesus mighty name.
Mark 11:23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
After the service, the festival had ended and the pack up started. We then decided to go to the Hokatika river mouth to try catch a fish, but was very quiet.
The next day we tried again, but it seems the only fishing that produces a catch is when we are fishing for people, praise God.
Mathew 4:19. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
