Hello family, today we are in Greymouth, after travelling through Arthur’s Pass.
We found a freedom camp out at the river mouth. The site was very exposed as the bus rocked around in the strong wind.
The next day we had arranged to meet brother Juergen and daughter Anna. Anna a young, budding evangelist, was keen to join us in the outreach. We set up a table on the Main Street, with free drinks, books and bibles to give away.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into yourbosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
The town was quiet but Holy Spirit still drew in precious souls to Jesus. We spent some time sharing with Juergen and Anna, how the Lord works through us in sharing the good news to the public.
We sensed Anna was encouraged as she handed tracts out to the people passing by. It was evident, that Anna truely does love Jesus with all her heart and a desire to evangelise.
Jeremiah 29:13. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Brother Juergen, a beloved brother in Christ, blessed us with food and drink. God has given Juergen incredible talents in photography, producing stunning imagery of God’s beautiful creation, glory to Jesus. Many of the images are viewed in books or media around the world. He has two galleries in Hokitika, praise God.
1 Peter 4:10. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
We loaded Anna up with tracts for her ministry with Jesus and at around 2pm, we departed from Greymouth, to travel to Westport.
Thank you for joining us here, you are welcome to leave a comment if you like.
Bless you and your families with love from your brother in Christ,
Paul

About Greymouth….
Greymouth is the largest town in the West Coast region in the South Island of New Zealand, and the seat of the Grey District Council. The population of the whole Grey District is 14,600, which accounts for 42% of the West Coast’s inhabitants. The Greymouth urban area had an estimated population of 8,610 (June 2025).[1] A large proportion of the District, 65%,[3] is part of the Conservation Estate owned and managed by the Department of Conservation making Greymouth a natural centre for walkers and trampers.
Location

The town is located at the mouth of the Grey River, on a narrow coastal plain close to the foot of the Southern Alps. In clear weather, Aoraki / Mount Cook can be clearly seen to the south from near the town. The mouth of the river divides the town into three areas: Blaketown, close to the river’s mouth on the south bank; Karoro, to the southeast, separated from Blaketown by a series of small estuarine lagoons; and Cobden, formerly a separate town, on the river’s north bank
