Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.
What a wonderful Father we have. He continues to pour out His perfect love in the Wellington Region. Today our King and Lord was present, touching many hearts on the streets of Lower Hutt.
As I prayed for people today Jesus, I could see Your light, transferring to them. I sensed Your power and glory flowing, to elevate them as I prayed for them. Thank You Jesus.
I met quite a few people who we have already prayed for, weeks ago.
They reported back to me that they were doing well in their walk with the Lord. I prayed further blessings upon their lives and prophesied mighty works of God through them.
The Holy Spirit ministered and encouraged the people, to develop a deeper intimate relationship with Jesus.
Ephesians 4:11-13 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
Brother Logen preached over the loud speaker to the people across the intersection. His booming voice gently and lovingly preaching the whole gospel.
There is a Heaven and Hell. We are all sinners, we all need a saviour. For God so loved the world He gave up His only begotten Son to die for our sins. To be the atonement for the sins of the world. Then He was raised up by God our Father on the third day to eternal glory, seated at the right hand of our Father in Heavens throne, for ever and ever.
Jesus did it all for us. He came 2000 years ago. He taught us the truth and the way, and He is, and always has been, the eternal life and light in all creation, glory to God our Father.
Romans 10:8-13 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Those who reject Jesus will come under the judgement of the law, the 10 commandments, because they have not yet accepted the free gift of atonement for their sins, by the precious blood of Jesus, poured out at the Cross. They are still condemned by the law and the penalty is eternal death.
Romans 6:20-23 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed?
For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Once receiving the greatest gift of all of salvation in Christ Jesus we are baptised in the Holy Spirit who teaches all things spiritual. The Holy Spirit will convict us of sin, to lead us out of our sinful ways. If we are obedient to the Holy Spirit, we will be delivered from sin and no longer be a slave to it.
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Jesus also said we must follow His commandments. To Love God with all our hearts and our neighbours as ourselves. We are also to walk a path of repentance, simply confessing our sins before God and asking Him to help us turn away from them.
These are reasonable and important conditions, God has appointed for the entire sanctification and purification of our vessels, bringing us into Holiness.
1 John 1:9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Hebrews 12:14-15 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled
The beautiful truth is, it is no longer about works that we do, but God carries out His work within us, and through us, as our Love and obedience to Him, grows day by day. He carries us from glory to glory, in His right Hand. We are no longer naked in sin, by clothed in the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Ephesians 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
