130. 8-Feb 2026: Tahunanui Beach Fellowship & Motueka Valley Fellowship

Hello friends, we were very blessed today as we were invited to, two fellowships.

Renee, a sister in Christ, whom I have know for many years, invited us to Tahunanui beach in the morning, where three Churches joined together for fellowship.

Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Aspire, Ywam Nelson and another. It was lovely to catch up with Renee and friends in Christ, to talk about new and exciting things, God is doing through us.

Renee is a currently a staff member at Ywam, Nelson base. She recently went on a mission to Japan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Mongolia. Praise God for giving Renee a great gift of compassion for people. She is a mother figure to many youth who come to Ywam, Praise God.

Mathew 12:46-50. While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.

But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.

In the afternoon Dave invited us to their home group in a big old barn, on a farm, in Motueka valley. We enjoyed a lovely fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We were asked to share what God is doing through Souls For Christ outreach and of course we did.

The group were encouraged and immediately, sister Jude and brother Reg, who live in Motueka, suggested doing an outreach at the local Sunday market. Praise God. So plans started to take shape immediately. Thank You Holy Spirit.

We enjoyed our time with new friends in Christ and thanked the Lord for His endless love and grace, abounding for us and through us. Amen.

John 17:23. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Thank you for joining us here, you are welcome to leave a comment if you like.

God bless you all in the mighty name of Jesus.

Paul

About Motueka

Motueka is a town in the South Island of New Zealand, close to the mouth of the Motueka River on the western shore of Tasman Bay. It is the second largest in the Tasman Region, with a population of 8,290 as of June 2025.[4]

The surrounding district has a number of applepear, and kiwifruit orchards, as well as growing a variety of specialised crops such as hops. The area formerly served as the main centre of tobacco growing in New Zealand until the early 1980s.[5] A number of small vineyards have also been developed.

Nearby beaches (such as Kaiteriteri and Mārahau) are very popular with holidaymakers, and the area around Motueka has one of the country’s highest annual sunshine-hour indices.[6] Riwaka lies 4.8 km north of Motueka via State Highway 60 and Nelson is 41.7 km to the east of Motueka via State Highway 60 and State Highway 6.

Motueka, as one of the nearest towns to the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, has become the base of many tourism ventures, as well as in Nelson Lakes National Park, and in other recreational areas. Extensive limestone cave systems (including Harwoods Hole in the Tākaka Hill area north of Motueka) attract cavers and rock climbers. Sea kayakingtramping, and canyoning now attract many thousands of visitors each year.

Many artists live in the area around Motueka, especially potters and reggae musicians. The Riverside Community, in nearby Lower Moutere, is a pacifist intentional community. Founded in the 1940s, it is New Zealand’s oldest cooperative living community.[7]
